i don't understand your fascination with David Archuleta.
he has the voice of an angel.
he has the face of like omg…something hot, cute, and adorable at the same time.
he has quite possibly the most amazing ass in the world.
he is the most genuine artist in the music industry today [i swear his genuineness towards his fans and people rivals that of Gaga].
his hair is perfection.
his smile lights up my soul.
his voice takes me on a roller coaster of positive emotions.
his clothes make me want to kidnap his stylist. or whoever picks his out his clothes. maybe David does. i want his shirt he wore in Manila with the smiley face. but anyway.
did i mention his smile is infectious?
i love when he goes “hey guys……its David here……..” in his vlogs.
i love his peace signs.
i love his Buzz Lightyear tshirt.
i love how interactive he is with his fans, at least once a week he tries to reply to some tweets he gets personally.
did i mention hes hot? cute? adorable? okay just checking.
everything under the sun.
…..how dont you understand.
#perfection doesn't exist
#perfect is overrated
I don’t like to say “embrace your flaws” because … those things that you don’t like about yourself are “imperfections” not “flaws”. Imperfection = “The quality or condition of being imperfect.” AND IT’S OK TO BE IMPERFECT, IT’S OK NOT TO BE PERFECT.
We are not supposed to be perfect, just HAPPY.
#self esteem issues
When I was a kid I used to hate my smile. Really really hated it. I didn’t understand why those phrases like “a smile makes anyone look beautiful”/ “smiling is the best accesory you can wear” etc etc… didn’t apply to me. Can you imagine a little girl not feeling comfortable with how she looked smiling? I’m a round faced girl, that’s why when I smile my face look in some way bigger/rounder. I used to hate that and for that reason I avoided cameras… but there were times when I HAD to be in front of a camera (family dinners, photos for the school, etc) and what did I do? simple: serious face or showing a smile with mouth closed.
Now, when I look those pictures I regret not showing a big smile… now I see that it IS true, a smiling person looks GOOD no matter what.
Ok, I’m not saying that I TRULY LOVE my smile today, there are still some issues with it, but I’m accepting it, embracing it… step by step.
THE NU PROJECT!!! →
#the nu project
Thank you for being here. The Nu Project is a series of honest nudes of women from all over the world. The project began in 2005 and has stayed true to the original vision: no professional models, minimal makeup and no glamour. The focus of the project has been and continues to be the subjects […]
I wanna share this with all of you. I just found out about this project today and I’ve been looking through their photos. It is just amazing, inspiring and beautiful! For me, it’s really important to prove that the bodies that the media show us aren’t the only ones. (let’s not get into the talk about photoshop and programs to “fix” what they think it’s “wroing” in the case of magazines, for example.) Projects like this help to understand what’s REAL BEAUTY and think twice about what the media wants to sell us.
